March 29th, 2009: In which The Littlest Edward sorts my mail--and gets a few things of his own.

"It's a journal!" he said, his face lighting up. I was biting my lip, desperate not to scream SCRAPBOOK SCRAPBOOK SCRAPBOOK! or laugh like a hyena. You know. Either one. Maybe both. "I can really use one of these," he said. "I have a lot of feelings, you know. Some self-expression would probably do me some good."

• The "scrapbook" part is, of course, homage to "Growing Up Cullen," where the fanon that lonely, virginal Edward scrapbooks originated. However, there's also a deleted scene on the Twilight DVD that has Bella browsing "a hundred years of journals." I had already planned to get The Littlest Edward a journal for an upcoming entry, so this worked out perfectly.

• Originally I had TLE say that the coppery Olivia shade was "becoming," until I looked up the color descriptions, realized that Luster was a "beige," and fell over laughing. (Edward Cullen seems to have a beige fixation in the books; he wears a lot of it.)

• To the best of my knowledge, "No Vampire Hungry" originated on the Secret Life fan community. Yes, my dolls have their own fans.

• This was an unplanned entry, naturally, but I really did get a ton of mail in one day and pretty much couldn't resist.
