One of life's great joys: a picture of a cat with a humorous caption, usually in the Impact font. Often used in place of a verbal reply on a message board, assuming 1) the macro is really, really good and 2) the other posters don't beat you to death. A macro, generally speaking, doesn't have to be a cat macro, but few non-cat macros are worth bothering with. Exception: owl macros. Update: This is no longer true, as the macro meme has swept the internet, and everything can be lol'd.

• Cats aren't very good spellers, nor do they have a very good command of English grammar.

• Cats keep up with current internet slang and memes.

• Cats enjoy a good brew.

• Cats enjoy things that are invisible.

• Cats are very good with computers.

• Cats are extremely nerdy.

• Cats can drive.

• Cats are formidable opponents.

Do not underestimate them.
