To differentiate this from Favorite books, a favorite author is someone who could write a book, many books, any books, and I would read them. I mean, pretty much anything they wrote, I'd add it to my to-read list sight unseen. There's a lot of books in the world but not so much time, so I'm not saying I have read every book by a particular writer. I'm just saying that, if I were left alone in a room full of books, I would start looking for books by these writers first. Under each name, books I particularly like or entries I've written about them are listed. As always, this is a page in progress.
